We welcome your contribution to Vitess, whether they be documentation, a bug fix or new feature. For more information, see the contributing guide.
Monthly Meetings #
On the third Thursday of the month (unless otherwise specified), the Vitess community holds a monthly meeting by video conference to discuss the state of Vitess. New features will be previewed or discussed, and everyone regardless of location and familiarity with Vitess is welcome to join.

Project Governance #
Vitess is an independent open-source project and not controlled by any single company. To emphasize this we joined the Cloud Native Computing Foundation in 2018.
Within the project, we make decisions based on these rules.
